The SeaI/O-520M is a rugged and flexible Modbus RTU module offering 8 optically isolated inputs and 8 high-current SPDT (Form C) relay outputs. Designed for industrial automation, the inputs accept voltages from 5 to 30VDC while providing electrical isolation to protect sensitive control systems from electrical transients and ground loops.
Its relays can switch loads up to 6A at 250VAC or 5A at 30VDC, offering flexibility for both AC and DC control applications. Each Form C relay can be configured for normally open or normally closed operation.
The SeaI/O-520M communicates over RS-485 using the industry-standard Modbus RTU protocol, making it easy to integrate with existing PLCs or SCADA systems. For developers, Sealevel provides its SeaMAX API software libraries to speed up integration with custom applications on Windows and Linux.
Expandability is seamless—connect up to 246 compatible SeaI/O expansion modules using convenient pass-through connectors, giving you scalable I/O control. The module is housed in a durable enclosure and can be powered by any 9–30VDC source or optional Sealevel power supplies.
